Yo, Stubborn Massive!!! The weather is disgustingly hot here in Dirty Jersey, but we're sweatin' and slavin' in the Stubborn Basement to add some more awesome titles to the 682 products we already have on http://www.stubbornrecords.com {http://www.stubbornrecords.com}! You guys were so quick to jump on the Slackers vinyl we had that we went and got a little more for you this week. We also added a few more CD's of music that's so deadly, we have to put HAZMAT suits on to pack the orders! Take a look!

The Slackers - Close My Eyes LP {http://www.stubbornrecords.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=24220&cat=&page=1} Since we sold out of the Wasted Days LP in 2 days, we went and got you another rad Slackers LP. This is the vinyl version of the Slackers' seminal album "Close My Eyes on Hellcat Records. The tunes are killer, with a great mix of ska, rocksteady, and reggae. Vic's vocal performances are great as usual, and the album is a great listen start to finish. Grab it on vinyl for that true analog feel.

V/A - Trojan Slack Reggae Box Set (3 CD) {http://www.stubbornrecords.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=24219&cat=&page=1} Trojan Box Sets are a very worthwhile investment, especially this one! Not only do you get 3 CD's for the price of one, but each CD is LOADED with killer Jamaican tunes, from Ska to Rocksteady, right up through Reggae. This Box Set is so dirty, it comes with a parental warning label, no joke! It features awesome artists spanning multiple decades of Jamaican music, from Derrick Morgan to Yellowman to Beenie Man. Grab it quickly, supplies are very limited!

Phyllis Dillon - One Life To Live CD {http://www.stubbornrecords.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=24222&cat=&page=1} (Jamaican Import) Phyllis Dillon is among the most popular female Jamaican singers ever. Her voice was sweeter than honey, and at least as smooth! Her music is also hard to find, even in CD format. This 16 track compilation of her work includes her biggest hits, "Perfidia" and "Woman of the Ghetto," as well as 14 other classic cuts from her awesome career at the famous Treasure Isle Studio in Jamaica.

V/A - Bobby Aitken Presents: Rocksteady, Original and Red Hot 1966/67CD (Jamaican Import) {http://www.stubbornrecords.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=24221&cat=&page=1} Bobby Aitken was Laurel Aitken's brother, and more importantly, a very talented singer and guitarist! He also helped produce and arrange some of the first and BEST music of the Rocksteady era in Jamaica, from 1966-1967. This CD highlights some of his own tunes, as well as music he played on and produced. It's full of rare cuts from a very important time in Jamaican music history, and a true must-have for fans of Rocksteady and Jamaican music in general!

Wood In Di Fire - Off The Hook CD (German Import) {http://www.stubbornrecords.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=24212&cat=&page=1} Wood In Di Fire is the best thing to happen to Berlin since the destruction of its wall. Well, there may be a bit of exaggeration there, but this band is fantastic! The ambience on this CD is thick and lush, and surrounds you like a velvet smoking jacket. It's a great mix of classic Jazz, Reggae, and R&B tunes covered very tastefully, with some originals thrown in for good measure. This is fantastic reggae and rocksteady, with a lot of unique touches and very lively, but laid back production. You need to hear it for yourself, but you won't find these elsewhere in America, so get them here!

And check out the stuff we added last time, in case you missed out!
