This is his first show in over 40 years and not to be missed under any circumstances!! Best known for his writing and singing Dandy (aka Robert Thompson) released some all-time classic reggae tracks including the original Rudy A Message To You (later to become a phenomenal hit for The Specials), Reggae In Your Jeggae, People Get Ready, Raining In My Heart, Dr.Sure Shot and UK chart hits Suzanne Beware of The Devil and Big City. As a producer & artist he helped establish Trojan Records, producing many artists; Rico Rodriguez, The Cimarons, The Marvels, Nicky Thomas and Tony Tribe, including his classic version of Red Red Wine. Dandy is a true Jamaican music legend and we are truly honoured that he has decided to play his comeback show at The London Intl Ska Festival 2012. We are also delighted to announce two of the new wave of British inspired ska bands have been added to next years line up: Buster Shuffle and The Delegators. Bonjour, Nous vous invitons à la soirée de rentrée de l'Association PORTNAWAK' PRODUKTION qui se tiendra le samedi 24 septembre au carbet de la DDE, route de la Madeleine (petite route qui monte en face du Mobilia) à partir de 19h30, à Cayenne. Avec les prestations de : - Atlantic Wave Steel Band, groupe de Matoury, qui interprètera le style Steel Band, originaire de Trinidad et Tobago. - Livity, groupe de Reggae que l'on ne présente plus - Pakalawali, groupe du village Paddock de Saint-Laurent, qui pour la seconde fois, se produira au cours d'une soirée organisée sur Cayenne (ils avaient chanté au cours du festival des rythmes sacrés organisés à la Poudrière). Le groupe composé de quatre artistes : brésilien, Kali'na, Bushi Kondé Sama et créole interprètera ses compositions hip hop, reggae, dancehall. - Dièze Tone, groupe de rock de Kourou - Amour Cloches et Tambour, percussions et danses de Kourou Avec la présence des jongleurs pour un spectacle de feu!! Et pour finir la soirée mix DJ Restauration sur place, avec les traditionnelles galettes et crêpes bretonnes. Bar associatif, Entrée à 3 euros.
