salut à tous, salariés, chômeurs, fonctionnaires...

un petit mail pour vous faire part d'une nuit des morts vivants qui a eu lieu hier soir au glaz'art à Paris : The Hop La + LSD en concert.

Tous les damnés de la terre sont ressortis de leur planque pour pogoter sur des accords d'hier et d'aujourd'hui. Pour info, The Hop La est le groupe de l'ancien batteur des Sheriff. Il est à la guitare et au chant désormais. Il faut savoir que c'est lui qui composait pour les Sheriff. Donc, ça sonne comme du Sheriff. On a eu droit en plus de leurs compos (qui dépassent rarement 2min30) qqs morceaux mémorables : les 2 doigts dans la prise, Jouer avec le feu, fanatik. Bref, tous ceux qui ont vu un concert des Sheriff doivent ressentir ce frisson décibelique. Bon ce qui est marrant, c'est que le chanteur ne doit pas avoir toutes ses dents, c'est donc un peu particulier comme chant !

Ensuite, La Souris a investi les lieux. Le set, plein de fantaisies et de digressions, de couplets de vieux morceaux ajoutés à d'autres, était moins carré quen janvier mais très sympa. Du coup, on a eu droit à 1h40 de rock n' roll lysergique. Le public, unique, fidèle et souvent quadragénaire était comme le service d'ordre : viril mais correct.

Pour les plus lysergiques d'entre vous, le live au glaz'art de LSD est sorti en disque lundi dernier. Pour avoir assisté au concert, je garantis un pur moment de rock n' roll.

Arpioni is a musical collective formed by more than ten person, born 14 years ago in Bergamo (Italy). They begin playng live shows in many clubs, becoming well know in the italian ska scene. In '93 they take part in the first italian ska compilation 'SKANDALO AL SOLE' (Vow Pop). In '95 they produce their first cd 'PAPALAGI', after several shows begins the partnership with GRIDALO FORTE RECORDS, famous indipendent label from Rome, that decide to produce three years later 'IN MEZZO AI GUAI', second album of the band. In '99 (as backing band) they tour with Laurel Aitken, also known as The Godfather of Ska, and in summer they record their third cd 'UN MONDO IN LEVERE', produced by Kaki Arkarazo appreciated sound engeneer that worked also with Manu Chao, Amparanoia, Fermin Muguruza.In september '01 come out the fourth album 'BUONA MISTA SOCIAL SKA', a collection of italian traditional songs played in their personal ska style.In may '05 the last release 'MALACABEZA' (Alternative Produzioni) an album characterized by a big variety of musical styles, from trad ska of course, to latin and italian traditional songs ska revisited.
