Wood In Di Fire is the best thing to happen to Berlin since the destruction of its wall. Well, there may be a bit of exaggeration there, but this band is fantastic! The ambience on this CD is thick and lush, and surrounds you like a velvet smoking jacket. It's a great mix of classic Jazz, Reggae, and R&B tunes covered very tastefully, with some originals thrown in for good measure. The band sounds incredible, with superb musicianship and a real knack for adding their own touches to a deceivingly simple style of music. This is fantastic reggae and rocksteady, with a lot of unique touches and very lively, but laid back production. You need to hear it for yourself, but you won't find these elsewhere in America, so get them here while they last!
